Yolandie is an Environmental Consultant with seven years’ experience in the environmental sector and makes a welcome addition to the Greenmined Team based in Johannesburg. She studied at the University of Potchefstroom where she has successfully completed her undergraduate degree in microbiology and biochemistry and her Honors degree in environmental sciences.
Yolandie has specialised in the last five years in the rehabilitation of mines where she conducted the conceptual rehabilitation and management designs and closure plans and programs.
She has also been involved in a number of other environmental projects including railway sidings, filling stations, abattoir’s, logistics hub and mining sites where she compiled environmental management plans, environmental impact assessments, environmental audits, due diligences, IWULA’s/IWWMP’s and alien invasive encroachment programs.
Yolandie is an administrative person who is adaptive to change, confident and creative in her chosen field. She is enthusiastic about environmental issues and tries to implement people skills where possible and motivate those around her about the issues in South Africa. She is results driven and a quick learner. Her passions are campaigning for causes that she believes in and working with people to solve environmental issues.
